MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik is on a visit to Hungary, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation will be chaired by Sergei Aleinik and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjarto in Budapest on 12 April.
As BelTA reported previously, Peter Szijjarto visited Minsk in February 2023. Then the parties agreed to hold a meeting of the commission on economic cooperation in spring. “During the meeting, we agreed to intensify joint work within the framework of traditional institutional formats, which will become an additional incentive to expand the range of interaction. We proceed from the understanding that simple trade is no longer enough for the successful development of bilateral economic cooperation. That is why one of the topics of our talks was to discuss opportunities for expanding industrial cooperation,” Sergei Aleinik said about the results of the talks.
