Somon Air will make the first direct regular flight on the route Dushanbe – Jeddah – Dushanbe.
Thus, “Somon Air” opens direct regular flights on the routes “Dushanbe – Jeddah – Dushanbe” and “Khujand – Jeddah – Khujand”.
According to the press center of the airline, flights from Dushanbe to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) will be operated weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. Departure time on Thursdays from Dushanbe is 14:30, from Jeddah – 19:30, on Sundays from Dushanbe – 22:30, from Jeddah – 04:00 (Monday morning) local time.
Planes will fly from Khujand to Jeddah on Tuesdays. Departure time from Khujand is 21:00, in the opposite direction – 02:00 (on Wednesday night). The flight time from Tajikistan is 5 hours 15 minutes, on the way back – 4 hours 30 minutes. All flights will be carried out on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft.
To date, Somon Air has successfully operated flights from Tajikistan to Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, China, India, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
