Immediately after the meeting of the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama with the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin, the German government assesses the relations with Albania as excellent, the Albanian agency ATA reported to BTA.
In a post on social media, Christiane Hoffmann, one of the German government’s spokesmen, reiterated Chancellor Scholz’s message that Albania remains one of Germany’s most reliable partners.
“German-Albanian relations are excellent. We are happy to count on Albania as a reliable partner and remain a close and reliable partner on its path to the EU,” Hoffmann wrote.
At a joint press conference with Rama in Berlin, Scholz praised Albania’s efforts on the road to EU accession.
