The United States congratulates the people of the Czech Republic on their national presidential election and Petr Pavel on his assumption of the country’s presidency.
“Our sincere congratulations to the Czech people and General Viala on his victory in the presidential elections,” US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken wrote on Twitter.
Blinken expressed his aspiration to work together on many bilateral, regional and global priorities as friends, partners and allies.
